2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted and technically operated by LPC Computersysteme GmbH, Gewerbering 1, 76351 Linkenheim-Hochstetten, Germany. The service provider processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

Whenever you access our website, the web server automatically processes access data. This may include the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of access, the volume of data transferred, the referring page, browser type and version, and operating system.

This processing is necessary to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security, identify technical errors, and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the secure, stable and technically reliable operation of the website.

Server log files are deleted no later than seven days after access. If a specific security incident occurs, the data required for investigating the incident and preserving evidence may be retained until the matter has been finally resolved.

If you contact us using the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide. In the contact form, this may include your title, first name, surname, email address, subject and the content of your message. Required fields are identified as such.

Where your request concerns entering into or performing a contract, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other requests are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to handle and respond to your request appropriately.

Recipients may include the employees responsible for handling your request and our IT, hosting and email service providers where technically necessary. Processors are contractually bound in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.

We delete ordinary contact requests no later than six months after final completion, unless statutory retention duties, a contractual need, or a legitimate interest in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims requires longer storage. Contractual or business-relevant correspondence is retained in accordance with statutory retention periods.
